Am not familiar with 'soulseek' and so it's probably not lossless, but i don't really know. However, none of the bit torrent sites that i use (and i'm sure many here fall into the same category) sanction or allow the bit torrenting of commercial releases. Order the CD from the folks at the GD site if you want the show. We've all spent money, sweat, and blood over the years for the band, and whatever our personal opinions of the remaining members and their rather different philosophies, that we may or may not agree with, they are the ones who play(ed) this music that we talk about and listen to on a near daily basis. For a few bucks for an exquisite show, yeah, i'll shell it out and say thanks along the way. As for the bonus disk, even though it came with the preorders for 12/31, i'm sure it will be made available as well, though likely for a price.

This is just my two krowns ... take it or leave it.

if not - i guess i'll relisten to the my lossless version and see if it needs an upgrade or not

Hey man - my generosity has been hitting a stumbling block of my own creation - Tiger is waiting - Harold is waiting - Rob is waiting (though he kinda knows why) - I just can't get out of my own way nor can i get my head out of my ass.

Not myself

Yo man, tiger has been the shit lately ... he has hooked me up with beaucoup shows! And yeah, have slowed down myself a bit, since my busy period. Don't think on it too much ... everyone needs to regroup, refocus and get things in order. If someone doesn't understand that, well, they really should, and that's saying it kindly.

It's hardly surprising that a 16 track SBD source would sound better than a 30 year old KSAN FM 2 channel stereo broadcast. The official release inncludes all of the encores not found on the original sources.

I can understand why somebody would trade the bonus disc because it's not being sold anymore. Pirating the sets from 12/31/76 is not cool.

KSAN pulled the plug in the middle of set two in 71 and played recoded NRPS instead. They talked over the end of one song and the beginning of another in 72. Now, if Rhino would put out the 71 and 72 New Years shows (without those KSAN ids and interruptions), I would be happier...

I'll be purchasing the show, however the bonus CD is another story in my book of ethics. Imo, the bonus should come with all the orders (and it shall)

FYI, guys, I was just at the store site and it appears that the bonus disk isn't part of the package now, though you can get a t shirt...does seem a decent price.

Agree with the sentiments on picking up these items directly from the store...I hope they pick it up and start releasing more on a more regular schedule.
